Denise B. Barrows

Denise came to the Chambersburg area in 1981, and has been working in the public accounting profession for over 35 years. Earning her CPA license in 1984 and her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM (CFP^®) designation in 1988, has enabled Denise to assist clients in meeting their personal financial goals. She is a financial advisor with Avantax Investment Services^SM located in Dallas, TX.

Denise lives in St. Thomas, PA with her husband, Jeff and has two sons. Brian is a graduate of Methodist University and lives with his family in Maryland. Ben is a graduate of Mercersburg Academy and Denison University. He resides and works in Virginia.

Community Affiliations

Giving back to the community is a priority at Barrows Trostle Adivsors, LLC. Denise has served as a director of the Chambersburg Hospital Board of Directors and is currently a council member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is also a member of the AICPA, PICPA, and FSI (Financial Services Institute) where she currently serves on the FSI Board of Directors. She frequently speaks on taxation and personal financial planning.
